“Have you noticed anything unusual lately? I know you’ve been spending a lot of time with her,” asks the doctor.

“It’s just…I’m worried about her. And you. And all of us, you know? They used parts of all of you to make me. I want to know if I’m going to inherit her crazy.”

“She’s not crazy. We don’t use that word.”

“Well fine then, ill, or whatever. I know she was really sick.”

“She’s been through a lot.”

“So have I! But I’m pretty well-adjusted. Why isn’t she getting better, now that we’re here?”

“It’s harder, Ripley, when you’re older.”
