After the girls leave, I make a few jumps until I find an old-timey pharmacy, complete with a soda fountain counter. Blissfully, they serve beverages with an extra kick, so I’m pleased when they plop a cherry cola float in front of me that’s been doctored with a dash of lithium and a smidgen of oxy, for the pain.

While I nurse my wounds and get just a little high, I try to get in the right headspace. If I was Ripley, what would my endgame be?

Total obliteration.

But how would she do it?

I decide to order something stronger.
