Chapter 337: Three Stones

I go back with Ripley. My head is swimming (sinking really) and I don’t remember much of the journey back to Doc’s facility.

I do remember walking through a corridor on the way to my bed, seeing a conference room filled with versions of myself. It’s like seeing twins: after a while, you instantly recognize what makes each person unique, no matter how superficially alike they may be. It may be the hair cut, or the slope of a defeated shoulder, or even a nervous habit like ragged finger tips, but we all know how to tell each other apart.
