Chapter 339: Casualties of Causality

I loved the idea of a farewell tour, but I’m starting to run out of steam. And reason.

I’m not like a painter, or a scientist. I don’t have a masterpiece or a final theorem to complete before I go. There’s nothing left to tie me here. Not even Ripley.

I know what you’d say. That I’m repeating myself in an effort to convince you that what I want to do needs to be done. You’d say, “Who are you trying to convince: me, or you?”

The most essential tenet of my manifesto is liberty. This is what I want.
